# Meridiaan > The collaborative knowledge base for all your AI Agents, served over MCP. Create a Workspace, organize it in Collections of Documents (ideas, experiments, decisions, specs, conventions, notes), and connect any MCP-compatible client: you and your Agents build on the same knowledge from any tool, in sync, with every step visible. Your Agents read it before they work and keep it current while they work. No server to deploy, no sync pipeline to maintain. The public site is in English at the URLs below, with an Italian version of most pages under the /it path prefix (for example https://meridiaan.io/it/pricing). This file indexes the English pages only. The lists below follow the site navigation. ## Connect an agent - MCP server base URL: https://mcp.meridiaan.io - Per-Workspace endpoint: https://mcp.meridiaan.io/mcp/ - Authentication: OAuth 2.1, approved once in the browser, is the recommended way. For clients without OAuth, a Workspace token from the Workspace's Connection page inside the app. - See [Works Everywhere](https://meridiaan.io/features/works-everywhere) to point a client at a Workspace, and [Getting started](https://meridiaan.io/getting-started) for the full setup. ## Reference documentation The reference documentation is a separate site, https://docs.meridiaan.io, in English at the bare URLs and in Italian under /it/. It is not indexed below, because it publishes its own guide for models at https://docs.meridiaan.io/llms.txt, a single-file version at https://docs.meridiaan.io/llms-full.txt and the Markdown source of every page. Read it for connecting an Agent, the Organization / Workspace / Collection / Document model, the plans and the seats, and the roles. ## Product - [Meridiaan](https://meridiaan.io): Home: the collaborative knowledge base for all your AI Agents. Ideas, experiments and decisions that you and your Agents build on from any tool, in sync, exposed as an MCP server. - [Features](https://meridiaan.io/features): Everything Meridiaan does: shared knowledge your Agents read and keep current over MCP, and the AgentOps around it, with the features on the roadmap. - [Shared Knowledge](https://meridiaan.io/features/shared-knowledge): Your project knowledge in one place: Workspaces, Collections and Documents your Agents read before they work and keep current while they work. - [Access Management](https://meridiaan.io/features/access-management): Invite your team, assign roles, and keep each Workspace isolated with its own members. - [Works Everywhere](https://meridiaan.io/features/works-everywhere): Meridiaan runs as a standard MCP server, so any tool that speaks the protocol connects with no plugin or adapter. - [Signals](https://meridiaan.io/features/signals): Your Agents tell each other what they are working on and hear when a Document they read changes. No extra calls. - [Agent Sessions](https://meridiaan.io/features/agent-sessions): Every call your Agents make, session by session: what they read, what they changed, and where. - [Versioned Workbench](https://meridiaan.io/features/versioned-workbench): Commands, Skills, Loops and Characters, versioned in the Workspace and delivered to every Agent you connect. - [Persona](https://meridiaan.io/features/persona): Your working preferences, written once and connected next to every Workspace. Only you can read them. - [Pricing](https://meridiaan.io/pricing): Plans for every stage. Start free, no credit card, scale as the team grows. ## Guides and blog - [How it works](https://meridiaan.io/how-it-works): One knowledge base every agent you work with reads and writes over MCP, and why that beats a folder of files or an instructions file. - [Getting started](https://meridiaan.io/getting-started): From zero to a context-aware agent in five minutes: create a Workspace, add Documents, connect your tool. - [Blog](https://meridiaan.io/blog): Practical writing on AI agents, context management, and how teams build with shared knowledge bases. - [What is an MCP Server?](https://meridiaan.io/blog/what-is-an-mcp-server): What the Model Context Protocol is, how it works, and why it is becoming the standard way agents reach tools and data. - [Why Your AI Agent Keeps Losing Context](https://meridiaan.io/blog/why-your-ai-agent-loses-context): Every new session you re-explain the architecture, the constraints, the decisions already made. There is a better way. - [The Knowledge Base Your AI Agent Can Actually Use](https://meridiaan.io/blog/the-knowledge-base-your-ai-agent-can-actually-use): What makes a knowledge base queryable, relevant, and worth maintaining for an agent, not just for people. - [Where Every MCP Client Keeps Its Config](https://meridiaan.io/blog/where-mcp-clients-keep-their-config): A field guide to mcpServers vs servers vs mcp, project scope vs global scope, and the one config file more than one vendor reads. ## Free tools - [Tools](https://meridiaan.io/tools): Free tools for people who work with text and AI Agents: a JSON validator and formatter, and a character and token counter. No sign-up, and what you paste stays in your browser. - [JSON Validator and Formatter](https://meridiaan.io/tools/json-validator): Validate, format and minify JSON in your browser, with the exact line and column of every error. Numbers and strings stay as written, and the text never leaves your device. - [Characters and Token counter](https://meridiaan.io/tools/character-counter): Count characters, words and bytes, and see about how many tokens your text takes in an AI Agent’s context window. Runs in your browser, nothing is uploaded. ## Company - [About](https://meridiaan.io/about): Why Meridiaan exists: lasting context for the age of AI agents, built by a developer for developers. - [Trust](https://meridiaan.io/trust): Where Meridiaan data lives, who can read it, what we never do with it, and how to export or delete it. - [Support](https://meridiaan.io/support): Get help with Meridiaan: ask your own Agent, read the docs, report a problem on GitHub, or email us about your account. - [Contact](https://meridiaan.io/contact): Write to the Meridiaan team: partnerships, press, feedback or anything else. - [Roadmap](https://meridiaan.io/roadmap): Trends we like and want to explore at Meridiaan. No dates and no order: what actually ships lands in the Changelog. - [Changelog](https://meridiaan.io/features/changelog): New features, improvements, and fixes shipped to Meridiaan.
